Are You Always In A Hurry?

Are you always in a hurry, busy with taking action, because of your belief, that the more actions you can squeeze into your day, the faster you will arrive at your goals?

What if I told you that this is a sure-fire way to miss your goals by a mile?

Actions are great, however, actions that are done with haste, and from the experience of impatience, and a feeling of not having achieved just yet, are rarely those actions that you need to take to truly reach your goals. Thoughtful introspection, contemplation, careful planning, and tending to your mindset, combined with deliberate, and focused actions is the true path. So for a moment, relax, become present, and realize that through slowing down, you will arrive much faster, than through impatient actions.

Book Recommendation – The Answer by John Assaraf:

The Answer - Book ReviewTitle: The Answer

My Review of The Answer:

One of the principles that John Assaraf covers in his book The Answer, is that manifesting and creating the life of your dreams includes the consideration of the Law of Gestation. He concludes that everything takes time to develop and manifest. He also suggests that the Universe will work on its own time, and that pushing against this law by being impatient, the reader will keep what they are desiring away from them, rather than drawing it near.

But that is not the only powerful principle that is covered in this book.

While it seems at the surface, that The Answer is mostly directed toward those of us who want to create a business of our own (it contains sections that are specifically focus on creating a dream business), it has more than enough valid points that can be used in everyday situations, such as the neural reconditioning skill of transforming automatic negative thoughts into empowering beliefs.

Do I think that this book covers anything that has previously not been covered? No. However, the Authors are combining real world techniques with manifestation principles in a way, I have not seen it combined before. The only one who has come close to this type of book is Brendan Burchard’s High Performance Habits, and that is even more geared toward entrepeneurs than this book is.

While this book is not exactly the newest on the market, it gives you a good handle on the principles of reshaping your mind to focus on success and positive thinking, in order to make a lasting change toward the mindset that is needed to actively co-create your experience.

  2. The law of gestation, another law that rules the affairs of man, like the law of attraction. Life is in a process, you can never achieve by being in a hurry. I discovered this long ago and I have learnt to apply it to all aspect of my life. Just like a pregnant woman cannot reduce her 9 months so also we have to follow process to achieve our goals

indeed – but in our current state of being we tend to focus on instant gratification, rather than getting ourselves into the right mindset, and that is where this book can assist someone who wants to overcome that. Blessings!

  3. I believe 100% in positive thinking and what it can do for your mind, life, career and health. But I have to say I’m not sure about these books that basically promise to teach you how to become an entrepreneur or a millionaire. I believe that the first thing is more a personality than anything else and the second is not something that successful people thrive for. If you only want to make money you’ll probably fail. Do you think this book can teach anyone to become rich and successful? Or should I maybe read it as an attempt to develop?

    1. Author

This book does not promise you to become rich, but it promises you to shape your mindset so that you can take appropriate consistent action at the right time, aligned with your goals. What you do with that is up to you. This is not a book like the ones that they sell on Clickbank trying to force additional programs and secrets on you. No, actually, it speaks more about neuroplasticity, and the restructuring of one’s brain into giving you a chance to achieve – and what that looks like is up to you. Yes, it does focus on creating a business in some chapters, but not any particular business type, or any particular way of doing it, rather helping the reader to find a way to get around the programming that may lead to procrastination, or excessive worry, both which will keep you succeeding, even if you are a housewife.

      Blessings!

Yes, Larry, it would – because it would do a few things – teach you how to change your thinking so that you are staying a positive present tense mindset, therefore enjoying more of your present situations, and second it will assist you in creating daily rituals that you can actively use to help you feel less rushed and more focused on what is actually important. Blessings!

  5. A really inspirational article, thank you!

It is trying to emphasize that patience is indeed a virtue and success is not a race nor automatic but can be achieved with some hardships and challenges.

Personally, this makes me realize and understand more that every time, effort and perseverance I pour into everything I do today will definitely bear fruits tomorrow and be harvested not sooner but later, in God’s perfect time!

    Thanks a lot!
